The Salt Lake City Airport has a Tyson vending machine where you can purchase meat. Meat! From a vending machine. In preparation for moving the cockatiels to Utah, I started putting Audrey and Conner in the same cage at night. I was very concerned about them getting along because Conner is much bigger and stronger than Audrey and can be too aggressive. The trip from Moss Beach, CA to Salt Lake City, UT was over 750 miles. We thought about flying with the birds versus driving, but settled on driving because it would be less disruptive for the birds. Audrey has flown several times before and it’s quite stressful for him.
