Pamela,
I will, no doubt.

Meg,
Thanks for the advice. Don't feel guilty at all! I'll be here, and I'd be happy to answer questions about the website. Wordpress has some major advantages over Blogspot.

Aww, they are so cute! I can never get enough tiel pictures! My only recommendation for humidity is to give them cool showers, and keep them in a (more) humid area while they dry. Water is extremely drying for the skin, for when it evaporates it takes moisture you already had in your skin with it. Hot water evaporates faster and is more drying. The humid environment means you dry slower, of course, but that it is a less drying experience for your skin.

Sorry I have been so remiss in keeping up with your blog and leaving comments! I feel so guilty about it. It has been a tough fall/winter, and my high speed internet is still not installed! It should be soon, though, just as it should have been last fall after I moved! It makes things so much slower, like looking at your gorgeous wild bird photos. Oh, and the new blog looks great! I would like to switch mine as well, so I might have a few questions for you then!

Be sure to let us know if you get one. It's sooooo pretty - it would work nicely with your copper basin sink. Grin.

Pamela,
That is such a cool invention! I might get one. My boyfriend is always ordering crazy things from Japan. He's really good at using Google Translate to help in the purchasing process.

If you're looking for a cool electricity-free humidifier (and you speak Japanese), check this out:

I haven't tried it - I just love the way it looks (and works).

Mom, that's a cute humidifier.

Mary, I feel for Thomas. I was hoping that I just needed to lose a layer of dry skin, but I'm still itchy!

We have to run a humidifier in our bedroom over the winter because my husband's skin gets ridiculously itchy otherwise. We also go through a lot of lotion!

I bought a little elephant humidifier that I'm running at night because it makes life better for all of us. John in particular was sneezing at night due to the forced hot air... Here's the thing - got it at Walmart:

It's halfway through its second winter without any trouble. :-)
