Mom bought me the giraffe as a toy (I was only eight) and somehow we thought to stick it on Audrey's cage. I wish I could remember how quickly he adapted to the giraffe ;-) but alas. I do remember my grandmother speaking to Audrey while he was using the giraffe and she didn't understand what he was doing, which I thought was quite hilarious.

So, how did Audrey and his giraffe meet? Was it love at first sight?

Audrey, you keep it up...er, do whatever makes you happy. Squeaky (20 in Oct), Speckles (18 in Oct), Honey (16 in July), and Sydney Michael (13) all take care of their 'needs' even at their 'age.'

Happy spring, Audrey!!

Nice! I sometimes wonder if Conner would like his own giraffe. I'm on the lookout for one! It makes Audrey terribly happy to have one, so maybe Conner could benefit too. :-)

This is so funny! It's very similar to what my 2 male cockatiels do too. Chipper, being senior, humps his beloved "Going to Bed" book. Charlie doesn't hump, nor does he approve of this behavior and often complains to Chipper, but he also doesn't dare covet Chipper's book!
