Are you ready for cuteness overload? Conner and Audrey love chewing their Kleenex box.
This is especially true right now, because the cockatiels are hormonal. It’s almost as if Audrey has been screaming constantly since Saturday.
They chew and tap the box so much that they knock the box off the cage and then Audrey screams some more. ”Put the box back on the cage!”
So I put a toad inside of the Kleenex box, because it’s heavy and would prevent the birds from knocking the box off the cage. Little did I know that Conner would go inside the box with the toad!
Here is a close-up of these co-conspirators. Doesn’t the toad look crafty with his glowing eye?

Damn the hormones. Your boys are super cute – I love that Conner doesn’t care about his toad roommate.
They’re so enthusiastic. Having the baby around has made Conner and Audrey the bestest of friends. They get into these phases where they just want to play together and no, the baby can’t come, this is our play area!
OMG, that’s hilarious!
Thanks! Conner is the sweetest cockatiel that you will ever meet (unless you’re a baby cockatiel). I think that sweetness really shows on his face.
