Trevor is slowly maturing into an adult cockatiel, but at night he still regresses a little. Do you know how children will cry so hard that they develop the hiccups? Trevor has the hiccups at night. It’s not quite a begging noise, but it’s a noise that only a baby would make.

A couple of weeks ago Jon captured Trevor making baby noises. The quality is a bit grainy due to the dark room, but you get the idea.
His stomach was completely full, by the way. I don’t starve the cockatiels.

What a darling little sweetheart! Cockatiels are so completely transparent and themselves. I just love them.
Thanks Shannon! My favorite part is the horrified reaction of the other cockatiels. As if they didn’t act the same way when they were babies!
He is so adorable! Are Audrey and Connor (especially) becoming more comfortable with him now?
Thanks Mary! Trevor is getting calmer, which helps a lot. As long as he isn’t begging or swinging his tail everywhere Conner tolerates him. I think they’ll eventually be friends. Trevor is progressing to the more mature baby activities like pushing the boing away and attacking it viciously when it swings back at him.
