Racing Cockatiels

The baby has reached the stage where he wants to join the other cockatiels.  If I bring Conner and Audrey on the bed, the baby flies over.  If I pick up the baby he chirps miserably until he’s reunited with the others.  Every night the cockatiels have to walk across the floor.  This time, Conner and Audrey were distracted by the humidifier.  The baby (on the left) didn’t know what to think.

Trevor tries to chew the humidifier, hoping that might make it interesting.

And then the walk begins.

The race is on!

Conner could easily win, but he usually lets Audrey get ahead.  Conner will get sidetracked and poke around corners.  Trevor still doesn’t exactly understand so he’ll lag behind or race ahead.  And in the end, everyone rests.

Connor and Audrey are really into the humidifier (I’m sure it will grow on Trevorlol). Love those boys!

I love cockatiels. Conner and Audrey will bend down, touch their beaks together and then look at me as if to say, “Isn’t this exciting?!”
