Conner would like you to know that it’s not okay that Jon and I are always leaving. After we came back from China, Jon and I had separate trips to California. And Conner has had enough.
He often won’t let me leave the room. If I try to go downstairs he flies to me, which causes a chain reaction of Trevor flying to him and Stonewall flying after him until everyone winds up on or near the blinds. I’ve been spending a lot of time upstairs reading lately and it’s helping Conner to feel more loved. And really, who could leave this face?

Can you just bring them along? I take Suess with me when he behaves nicely. So he gets to participate in daily life here a bit and he gets over being afraid that we’re leaving.
He loves to do laundry.
Our vacations always involve plane rides and I think it’s too stressful for them. Especially with three cockatiels. Passengers on the flight would want to kill us!
