Rufous-faced Warbler

In addition to all those bird types I’d never previously seen before, like laughing thrushes and tits, China also has more familiar species.  They have possibly the cutest warbler to ever exist.

He’s so neat looking, with the black stripes over his head and what looks like a whispy black beard beneath his beak.  He’s the racing car of warblers.

He did all the usual warbler movements with the fast movement and propensity to stay in the shadows.  I love the blur of his wings in this picture.

Butterball with a tiny beak and big eye – would could resist?! Your shots of birds from China really wow’ed me.

I’m so glad to have them to write about. As much as I love the birds in Utah, it’s nice to have new content.

This warbler is pretty dart cute, I have to admit! Thanks for sharing these. This is probably the only time I will ever get to see some of these birds.

No problem! I’m really happy to be able to provide variety in bird pictures.
