Happy Thanksgiving! This was the first year that I can remember where we didn’t travel somewhere. It was glorious. I got to spend the entire day lounging around. I got so bored I was happy to go back to work today, at least for the first couple of hours. Working until 7pm was less than ideal, but Jon took me to an awesome restaurant afterwards so it was totally worth it. For Thanksgiving I made a really easy vegetarian meal. In fact, if it weren’t for a little cheese on the brussels sprouts, it would have been a vegan meal. There’s also kombucha in the picture. Have you tried it? I like it because it’s carbonated and taste like fruit juice but doesn’t have many calories. Hippies think it has restorative qualities.
The cockatiels got some peas too. Conner loves peas so much, you can see the glint of recognition when you show him the bowl. Even Teddy Roosevelt had a Thanksgiving meal. He loooved it.
Teddy got a lot of extra attention yesterday. He really loves to roughhouse. He starts like this:
Then he wants his belly rubbed.
Then he wants to attack!
