Cross-Stitch Audrey

I finally finished making a cross-stitch Audrey for Jon.  I made one for my office two years ago.  It has a really nice location right now.  I point to it anytime a new employee starts to chat with me about my interests.  Birds.  Bam!

This is one of my favorite pictures because it’s Audrey in his favorite place on the shelf among the green bottles and Conner in the corner adoring him.  Audrey’s ashes are on this shelf now.

Doesn’t it make a beautiful cross-stitch?  Conner is really neat because he’s out-of-focus but you can still tell it’s Conner and not another cockatiel.

    that is amazing!

  3. What a wonderful piece, Elizabeth. Audrey’s pose is so dynamic and to have Conner gazing up at him is very sweet.

Wow, that’s wonderful! You are very talented! Do you make the patterns yourself?

    Thanks everyone!

Shannon, I would be a genius if I could translate pixels to stitches in my head. Jon bought me this amazing software that converts pictures for you. I love it so much. The software automatically determines how many colors are in an image and you can modify it. You can also specify the size and stitches per inch. Technology is amazing!

Who says you aren’t a genius? Hmmmm?

Woah, that’s incredible. The software sounds cool too, that’s interesting. I like how Connie’s peeking head is included.
